Office Cafe is a place to share tips and ideas for working “outside the office.” It includes my own seemingly random notes for effectively making use of productivity toys tools. I am interested in personal electronic devices such as computers, iPods, iPhones, digital cameras, GPS’s, web servers, mail servers, network servers, routers, and connecting all of these devices together.
I also enjoy spending time in the local cafe, coffee shop, and other open common spaces. When I travel, I like to take in the local culture by spending time in such places and watching the people go about their daily lives. I love sitting and enjoying the atmosphere. But sometimes, my mind gets going and I enjoy being productive in such a place! The ideas presented here may help you when ideas strike, when it becomes more relaxing to be productive than to just sit there.
Office Cafe gives us a place to document for future reference the things learned while making our toys tools work for us.
And so it is… Office Cafe is a place to share with you my link between computers and coffee shops. That’s it: the Office and the Cafe. It may be the best blend of my weekday worlds.
